Australia opposition says doesn't want new election

SYDNEY, Aug 27 (Reuters) - Australia's opposition leader, Tony Abbott, denied accusations on Friday that he was manoeuvring to force the country back to the ballot box after general elections at the weekend delivered a hung parliament.

"I think the public and Australia deserves an outcome from this election," Abbott told reporters.

Earlier, Greens Senator Bob Brown voiced suspicions that Abbott would prefer a fresh election to negotiating with independent and Green MPs to form a minority government.
